Tobacco Cessation
The most preventable causes of death in the United States are related to the use of tobacco. Cancers, heart disease, emphysema, and lung diseases are associated with the use of tobacco. The Johnson County Health Department works in cooperation with the Partnership for a Healthier Johnson County in the Tobacco Awareness Program, to promote a healthier lifestyle through education on the dangers of tobacco use. Visit the Indiana State Department of Health's website for more information regarding tobacco issues.
